CityLink Site Selection Criteria: Zoning
Selection Criteria
- In December 2005 we received our zoning permit to operate at 800 Bank
Street.
- In February a group of individuals appealed our zoning permit. We were
disappointed in the Zoning Board of Appeals decision to overturn their
earlier decision. Our case was strong. We felt we won every round, but
lost the match.
- We remain convinced that providing holistic services under one roof
and providing an immense support system of volunteers is what will change
Cincinnati. We also remain convinced that the West End is an excellent
location – centrally located to people living in poverty and easily
accessible by bus/car for others in Cincinnati.
- The CityLink Board is thoughtfully and carefully considering all
options on how to best move forward. We are open to further discussions
regarding location.
